Anthony Houston is a native of Detroit, MI. At the age of 13 he accepted his anointing for ministry. Houston, was licensed as a Minister in Joy Road Temple of Faith, on June 3rd, 2012 under the direction of Bishop James F. Fox, Sr. He showed enthusiasm to work and serve the church. His works include helping liturgical worship, singing on the praise team, ministering, ceremonial & local adjutancy and assignments established.  While showing hard work and charisma in the church, Houston was ordained to the office of Elder and received his Ministerial Certificate from The United Christian Education Fellowship Inc., June 22nd, 2013. He additionally was honored with a Doctorate of Divinity (honoris causa) degree. 

 

Houston also serves as a minister in the Association of Universal Truth International Inc., under the leadership of Archbishop Joshua J. Ward., pastor of True Vine Temple of Christ. While being an active member of various groups, he has taken on numerous leadership roles. Houston, is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and Phi Theta Kappa International SocietyHe was also elected and served as an NBC News Education Nation Student Panelist.

Houston is a graduate of Wayne County Community College District (WCCCD) and the historic Morehouse College, where he obtained a Associate of Arts in Psychology and Bachelor of Arts in Religion respectively. He currently is a Master of Divinity Candidate at Vanderbilt University Divinity School.
